Biography

Robert J. Dickman Jr., Esq. grew up in Miami- Dade County, Florida. After high school, he attended Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History. He then attended the University of Miami Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate. He has been a member of the Florida Bar in good standing since 1999. He is also a member of the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida, and a member of the American Bar of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Mr. Dickman has practiced medical malpractice and complex tort law in Miami for 26 years with his Coral Gables law firm, Robert J. Dickman P.A. His firm has secured hundreds of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts over the years, and they have over 85 cases with verdicts or settlements over $1 million. His practice focuses on corporate hospital negligence, obstetrical mistakes involving newborn babies and their moms and catastrophic injuries to patients requiring long term care. Mr. Dickman practices law statewide and nationally, including in Georgia, Virginia and New York.
